The average price to rekey a lock is dependent of whether your lock is a single or double cylinder. A single cylinder lock has a keyhole on one side only with a snib or button on the inside. The average price for a single cylinder lock to be rekeyed is $20.00. A double cylinder lock has a keyhole on both sides and the average price for a double cylinder lock to be rekeyed is $40.00.
